Why is remembrance day not a nation holiday? banks and government office have it off but why not the rest of the country. now don't get me wrong i like the whole may 24 weekend but what is the point of celebrating the queens mom's b-day(she's dead) when our national war hero's get a crappy rainy day in november that there kids, and grand kids cant even get the day off school or work to go to a national day ceremony with those brave souls.

America has Veterans day and memorial day for there hero's we got a shitty day that we all have to go to work instead of having a day off and realizing why we got that day off and how close the world really came to being one really fucked up place.

now i am not in this for the day off cause chances are like every other holiday i would be working but come on canada step it up most of these fine fine people are almost all dead or really getting up there in age and i no that if i was in those wars i would want a day dedicated to them memories of all those brave people that gave there lives to save country's that most have them had never been to or hell even wanted to go to under the circumstances,.

I no that on November 11 i will be ashamed to be canadian and no national holiday for those lost souls
